Bradford Centre for Sustainable Environments

The Centre for Sustainable Environments involves a dedicated team of specialists from the University of Bradford developing the knowledge and capabilities that will enable more sustainable environments to be created. Based within the Schools of Engineering, Design and Technology, Social and International Studies and Life Sciences, the Centre's internationally renowned scientists collaborate to meet contemporary environmental challenges. Adopting an inter-disciplinary approach that integrates technological, organisational and societal solutions is fundamental to the Centre's ethos and is at the heart of everything we do.

Rather than aspiring to be a 'one-stop-shop' for all sustainability solutions, the Centre's specific strengths lie in providing bespoke 'integrated solutions' in the fields of water management, planning and governance in both developed and developing economies, urban policy, acoustics, training and sustainable mortars and masonry.
